Featuring:

Mosi Makori of Students at the Center and the Star Institute for Conscious Organization
and
John Thompson Death Row Exoneree and founder of Resurrection After Exoneration

Mori Makori will present the STAR Institute's, Star Institute of Conscious Organization (SICO), work to exonerate innocent individuals and John Thompson from Resurrection With Exoneration will present their campaigns for exoneration of convicted individuals. Both work to expose the systemic and specific injustices in the publicly funded criminal justice system.

Mosi has worked with the Justice for Jerome campaign to return Jerome Morgan to freedom. Jerome was allowed to leave prison but remain in the criminal justice system, now set for trial under Judge Zibilich (friend of DA Cannizzaro who was the original sentencing judge in Jerome's case!), after Judge Derbigny declared that there was no longer a shred of evidence linking him to the murder of another teenager, and after the two witnesses testified that they had been coerced in their mid-teens to testify that he was the shooter, even though they knew that he wasn’t and that there was other evidence to suggest that he was nowhere near the shooting.
